Welcome. I work on the lands of the Cameraygal and Gadigal peoples, and pay my resects to their elders past, present and emerging.

My work explores my (and our shifting cultures') relationships with landscape and landscape representation. Landscape has a long history in art; my focus is more on exploring the kinds of visual languages that – inadvertently or otherwise - support an assortment of agendas that include power and control, acquisition and ownership, utility and exploitation. These visual languages include those underpinning computerised topography, mapping, surveying, and modelmaking.

I’m also very interested in what such languages do not convey – in other words what is often absent  – personal connection, history, identity & evolution.
